Jacksonville would be tested in their first matrix match of the season, against Boca Raton RFC (2-2). This match would be Boca’s 4th of the season and it would show in the game. At the start of the whistle, the game was pretty balanced. Both teams were stout both on offense and defense. The first score would come from Boca with a strong series down the field. Jacksonville’s defense seemed to be letting up as the game went on which lead to Boca exposing gaps in the line. Jacksonville’s only score would come from a great back-line play capped off with a score from new wing “Tennessee”. Before the half, Jacksonville had good momentum with a strong effort to get into the try-zone, but was stopped by a knock-on. After the half, Boca took over the game and started scoring multiple tries as well as hold off Jacksonville from scoring another.
